Default Old irridium plugs for new basic plugs?

I was cleaning out the garage today and came across the 3924 autolite irridium plugs that I had in my dakotas 318. I saw some posts where people recommended the 3924 in their ram. Has anybody tried the irridiums in their ram?

It's the same basic engine, so if you were happy with them before you'll probably be happy with them again.

I ran iridiums for a bit, can't say they were any better than a standard copper plug, but there are situations where they really shine (heavy boost and high compression ratios come to mind.)

I stopped using them as the electrodes are very easy to break and at $8 a plug, that ain't cheap.
