Default Lights behind grille?

Before I get jumped on, yes, I searched. I'd like to mount some Hella lights behind my grille. I'm thinking 500's because 700's seem like they'd be too large.

Anyways, I saw another blue Ram once that had Hella's behind the grille, and am curious to know how he mounted them up. It looked like there was just a piece of steel attached to the core support somehow.

Anyone have any ideas?

i just took a self taping screw and drilled into the radiator support on either side. back it out and line up the little mount they give you and put the screw back in and it's adjustable and ain't hard to remove

I mounted some smaller lights behind my grille, the way I did it was first, I took two pieces of angle iron and bolted them onto the supports for the grille on both sides. Then I took another piece of angle iron and rounded it around to hold the lights frontwards. Then I took the exsiting brackets that came with the lights and bolted them onto the angle iron. I will post pics soon if you still need some pointers.

That's more of a 3rd Gen thing. Little harder on our trucks but it can be done
