I have a question. I have a 2001 4x4 1500. I put a 4.5" sky jacker kit in it, and put 35" tires on. The tires still rub on the inner side of the wheel well. My question is, does anyone have a inexspensive idea on how to fix this? I was thinking bout a mild body lift or possibly a leveling kit? Any opinion would be appreshiated
I'm running 35" Mickey Thompsons and it's just the front wheels are rubbing on the fender near the door. I can't recall the offset, but the rub on a solid turn. It seems to be worse when I reverse..
If it just rubbing on the plastic you can heat it up and bend it back some let it cool and see if that solves the rub, this works if you only have a slight rub
It's not on the plastic it rubs, it rubs the actual steel of the fender I've already did some body work and cut out an inch of the fender. I was really dissapointed that they still rubbed after the suspension lift.
