Hi, 2000, 1500 2wd, 5.9, been driving it for 11 years, first problem with it, 73k miles, I've searched and talked to some local trans shops that I wouldn't let them wash my truck.
The trouble is upshift to od, it growls and hangs unless I am accelerating about half pedal,
I've changed fluid, filter, governor sensor and solenoid, the trans seems fine in all gears up and down shifting, no noises, not much in the pan except fine silt,
I talked to a shop that has rebuilt od units (fleabay) seemed knowledgeable,
question is do you guys think I can simply switch the back half of the trans and is it simple
