Gas tank

will a gas tank off a 94' dodge ram 1500 single cab long bed SLT fit on my 99' 1500 club cab short bed Sport. at first glance it looked longer but i didnt have my truck or a measure tape to compare it. and also would a tank off any of the 2nd gen 2500 gas engines (the 35 gallons) fit on mine?

I couldn't get it to work. has to be a club cab donor vehicle, some like the 2500's are larger.
