Default coolant leak?????

what would cause coolant to leak into the dust cover area of the trans mission. i know there is a drain so if the real main leaks it will leak out there but i have coolant around that area what could cause these?

It may only have 61,500 miles on it, but its also 10 years old. Not common, but not unheard of.

yep very common actually...especially if tap water was ever used in radiator.. I have the same issue and used bars stop leak to slow the leak to a slow drip rather than pull tranny.

could it be coming out of the back of the intake? i would never put stop leak in my truck and seem that stuff do bad things. it seems like it only leaks when the truck is not running
