Bad vibration in front end in 2001 4x4
I have a 2001 Ram 2500 4x4 with 103k miles. The problem is that at 60 mph I get a bad vibration in the front end. At first I thought I was getting a flat. It feels like it is right under the drivers side. The vibration is worst when I hit the gas (you can't really notice it if you let off the gas at 60). I rotated and balanced the tires, but it is still there. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
sounds like the beginings of the death wobble... take it to a tire shop and get an alignment, have them put in as much caster as possible, this should help it alot if not eliminate it. Also have them check your TRE's, tracbar and you should consider changing your control arm bushings to urethane ones. I had the DW when I 1st got my truck also, stock height with 285's and the alignment and new tracbar fixed it.
the new tracbar lasted about 20k miles after I put on a 2 1/2" lift... so I went with this one... from ThurenFab
