Tail light problem solved, I think
Well, I think I found out what the problem is thats causing my crazy light situation. Some of you may remember that my problem where only my left turn signal would work correctly, if I hit my right then all the dash lights flutter between bright and dim, and when I hit the brakes, my odometer would go dim. Well that problem would only occur at complete random times and usually would go away over night. I never got around to replacing the multifunction switch or the flasher/hazard relay but I'm kind of happy I didn't because a new problem popped up yesterday that lead me to discover something messed up.
On my way home yesterday from running some errands, my right turn signal would flash really fast whenever I hit it and I remember someone saying that that normally happens when you have a light out. So I get home hit the flashers and my right tail light isn't working. I pull the light out, pressed the connector in a little, and it works. Then on my way to work today I lose my right turn signal again. Get home and pull the tail light again but this time I actually removed the connector for the LED's and bingo. The connector on the taillight end is partially melted and one of the pins is broken. So now I'm trying to talk with the people I ordered the lights from and seeing if they can hook me up with something because I only had the lights on for a week before the first problem started and then 3 months later I lose a light completely.
