Default ABS help

98 Ram 1500 with brake & ABS light on.
Truck has rear ABS only.
Light come on upon 1st start up of the day or sitting for long periods of time.
Short hops /starting/running around town and the lights are out.
It seems to just be the 1st starts in the mornings.
Checked and cleaned sensor on the rear axle, all seemed fine.
Speedo work 100%.
Any ideas ? Should I replace the sensor ?

I have owned it since new. I bought it in March 1998.

If the sensor on the rear diff is bad, cleaning it will do nothing. Except make it clean, lol.

There was nothing ( metal/dirt ) on it at all. I'll try a sensor in it.

Changed the ABS sensor and the light has been out for two days now.
When I put the sensor in, I disconnected the battery for a half hour to clear any codes.
All is good so far.
