Here in OK, you will see cummins typically bring no less then 10K. A 2wd may be just a bit less. The The fords will stay around 7-8. I am trading my truck in next spring for something for my wife and Im going back to the 2 gen, but I highly doubt I can afford one like i want.

i have an 01 v10 and i love it no issues, i and receipts don't lie gotten 17 mpg with my v10, i'm experimenting and i wasn't writing down what i was doing i have the tuner from hemifever, but i was for instance using the 87 tune with different octanes but i'll say this 87 tune with 89 octane is a guaranteed 13mpg. i've towed a 31' 8800lb travel trailer to plattsburg, ny in the hills i changed to the 92 tune with 89 octane and my truck was rolling up those hills, saddly i am going to trade it in for a diesel either the cummins or the stroke, i will not get a duramax those are junk, but my V10 is representing, some of the other guys i work with all have 1 ton diesels either cummins or stroke's some of them didn't think that i was going to make it acrossed Pa on the I70/I76 with a 8200lb trailer lots of rollercoaster hills on that interstate.

only place i can see a v10 being useful is a place where diesel is crazy expensive and it is frowned upon (for reasons such as having to let them idle and such) like big citys, and still needing towin out the butt.
