Default Programmer for 2000 5.9L V8

im posting this for a freind of mine that isnt so computer savvy lol
the trucks specs are as follows: extended cab, short bed, 4x4, 6in lift, 35in bfg mud terrains, cool air intake, full custom exhaust with no cats and a cherry bomb extreme muffler, 4.56 gears and an "extreme" shift kit (i have no idea whats so extreme about it, lol)

what kind of programmer would help him the most for power/ fuel economy? im not big into gas trucks im a big diesel guy so this truck is a little out of my know how. lol

SCT tuner would be the best, but Superchips isn't bad either. Email Hemifever, Hemifever@aol.com, for a quote.

Let me move this over to the 2nd gen Ram section so you can get more opinions.

I have had both. Superchips and SCT. SCT is great i must say. Superchips is not to bad either but they are good on lightly moded trucks. Myself id go with SCT. Its close to the same price and if you want to do more upgrades in the future, all you got to do is give hemifever a call and get your tune updated.

I've had both as well, superchips was great for when I first started modding but now that I'm getting more into mods, SCT all the way. Felt a good change switching over from one to the other.
