That's a good point, did you put the oiling hole on the side of the lifter up toward the bottom of the intake manifold on all the lifters? If it is down, facing the block, they aren't going to inflate.
I know the Mopar performance lifters have purple paint on that side to remind you.

Just went and revved it to 2000 for 2, 1 min intervals. Sounds alot better, but still sounds like one loose rocker on each side.

I heard the same sound when I did a cam on an old chevy pickup I had (flat tappet hydraulic lifters). Had to re-adjust rockers.

I will pull valve covers and try to re-adjust rockers hopefully this evening. I will use the method torquing the rocker bolts when the cylinder is at TDC. I will also run it with no valve covers, to try to pin point where the noise is coming from.

If that doesn't work, I guess I will start to pull off intake manifold again.

I am pretty positive that all of my oil holes are facing the right way (up towards intake manifold). Most of my new lifters had paint on the oild hole side, but some didn't. I double checked each of them after I dropped them into place (popped them up just enough to see hole).

Any other possible causes for loose valve train components? Before I did this job, I had a tick, and #1 intake lifter wasn't flowing oil.

Thanks,
Chris

If its all stock components, bent pushrods wod be my only other guess. You can roll them across glass to check.

Truck runs great! Thanks guys.

It was just a case of a lifter not pumping up. Pulled valve covers and all lifters were flowing oil. Decided to go for a drive, and the rocker noise went away 1/2 way down my street.

Thanks aim4squirrls, and dodgeram07!! I really appreciate all the help, and advice!!!

Cheers,
Chris
