Default Hi

I recently joined this forum, because I bought a 1999 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4, and it needs work. This is the bigger of my two 4x4 projects. It recently started spewing from behind the water pump, so I changed the pump and other cooling hoses and clamps. Now that it is all back together, the engine turns over, but won't fire. I put a computer on the truck and got a p0340 trouble code. Any help would be nice.

Welcome to the site. I will move this thread to the second generation Ram section. Trouble code P0340 is the camshaft position sensor circuit:

did you happen to unhook the CPS and forget to hook it back up by any chance? Seems strange that it would go bad just like that

It may be more than just the sensor as it is a circuit trouble code,
