Default Tailgate hinge issues

Having a little trouble making the tailgate hinges work properly on my 1997 Dodge Ram 2500. Got rubber parts from Dave Smith Motors but the tailgate still doesn't open and close smoothly. What have you used to fill the cup on the driver's side and the half cup on the passenger's side. I need the tailgate because of the loads I carry. The LMC catalog shows an "insulator" that goes over the trunnion and seems to help with the smooth operation of the tailgate. Right now not only does the tailgate bind up, sometimes it falls off and is a royal pain to get back on the trunnions.

I suspect I'm not the first person to deal with tailgate issues. Sure appreciate any help with this problem.

Thanks

Thank you ZMan, I will track that kit down tomorrow and get back to a tailgate that opens and closes easily and doesn't try to fall off at inappropriate times.
