Default A/C Bearings???

Hello all,

I have a 99 ram 1500 with a 360. In the last few days the pully on the A/C compressor began squeeking. Now the pully squeels like a banshee. If i spray WD-40 into the pully, it will stop squeeling for the time being. With that being said, I ssume that there are bearings in there that are shot.

My question is, is it possible to replace the bearings in the compressor without having to buy a whole new compressor? I really do not use the A/C much so I am not wanting to shell out the cash for a new compressor.

If it is possible to replace the bearings, how do I go about it??

Again, thanks for the reponses and all of your help pointing me in the right direction.
