So I know I can just go get my owners manual, but it's raining and I don't want to go out in this mess to the truck to get the manual. I figured someone on here could probably tell me right where it was. It's not for the cigarette lighter, but for the power adapter right below the cigarette lighter. Is the fuse in the side of the dash or under the hood? What size fuse do I need for it?

i was half right -
its under the hood, cavity M, 20 amp (larger size, not the mini)
its in your lower left corner as your looking it it.

 

I think it is the cigarette lighter fuse. I think their the same. It is definitely 20 amps.

 

nope. cigarette lighter is in the end of dash, but also 20 amps.

 

Yep not the same as the cigarette lighter. I know this, because I blew the fuse for the power outlet while testing a device that was faulty. My cigarette lighter still works, but my power outlet doesn't. I just hadn't had time to fix the fuse yet.
