5.9 supercharger?
I believe Pro Charger makes a kit, and Paxton did as well at one time also IIRC. Not a simple plug and play installation mind you. If you want a reliable setup, you will need a few internal modifications, the most important being stronger pistons.
In my opinion, there are cheaper ways to get some hp than supercharging. For one, turbo. You can build a custom turbo kit for around $2000. But, as stated above, you might want to upgrade some internals. Not sure what the stock bottom end is capable of handling as far as forced induction. But I'm sure that 8 psi on a mostly stock 360 would wake that thing up for sure!
ProCharger made their supercharger to run on stock applications. I ran mine for 30k without any real issues. The bottom end on a Chrysler product has always had a reputation of being strong. You may or may not have a belt slippage issue. I suggest that you call Watson Performance Engineering, formerly KRC, and get the upgraded bracket. Marty is gone but I believe Dalton still has the ability to make one. From what I figure ProCharger never sold enough of these kits to warrant a fix, not cost effective, so Marty came up with his own.
i had one on my 99 dodge 5.9 it made it a whole new animal at 5psi and i had it on for 90 thousand miles with no issues. I had it rebuilt and put another 6 thousand miles before i got t boned. so now its for sale. i had a belt slipping issue and called pro charger they told me to rough up the surface of the pulley a little i didnt do this i bought a new gatorback gatorbite belt and it help up alot better to slipping. This is an expensive upgrade but fairly easy to install. they run about 6000 new.
