Default I hate inspection time..grrr

Yep its time for the yearly rant!!!!

So this year I get flagged for the same windshield in the same condition as was passed last year, 1/8 inch of water in the passenger headlight, about a quarter inch of wobble in the driver side rear view mirror, and a "excessive play" in the right front wheel bearing. It was repacked and inspected by me last year looked new. Actually all this was the same last year. But last year I got failed on safety for exhaust (passed the sniffer) and ball joints.

Guess I am to blame for using the same place...again this year! I was hoping for a different out come. Is that the definition for crazy or stupid ?

Dammit I miss old three finger Bob that would honk the horn and pass my hot rods back in high school!!!!

Stupid state pandering special interest money grubbing thievery that's all it is !!!

damn son, that's a hellva inspection you have there. You need to find a new shop.

In TX, the rural counties have no inspection, us city folk get the horn honk, light check, CEL check, and if it ain't billowing black smoke, it usually passes.

I'm so happy Michigan doesn't have inspections. I remember those days from when I was in the Marines stationed in North Carolina. They have yearly safety inspections too.

Windshield replacement (best bid ) = $186.37

Head light salvage = $50.00

How often should you change the water in your headlights? Mine is starting to look a little hazy and discolored.

I thought Georgia was tough on inspections, I hate it for you. Just think all the money that you're putting back in the system is going to pay for our new Healthcare System. That way when you see water in your headlights and you have a heart attack it won't cost you a dime!!!!!
