Default oil pressure sensor

are these common in going out? i just replaced mine about 2months ago and it seemed to fix it till the other day... any ideas?

no, not really. what's it doing, reading low, or reading zero ?
i know they're expensive at about $25-30. if yours quit working, take it back for a warranty replacement.

i hope your oil pressure is not really at zero.

na lol. id be freaking out if that was the deal. it jumps 0 to what ever. randomly. it did it last time and i read up and found that oil pressure swithces are the most common problem.. so i replaced it and was fine till about yesterday.. im probably just gonna replace it again... i lost the receipt to the other one anway.. :/

have you checked your oil level? mine eats about 1 quart every 1k miles, and if it gets to low and your going down a hill or take a sharp turn your pressure will drop to 0 and your check gauges light will come on.
