Unhappy 54mm?!?

Did the 1 11/16" work for you? I tried every socket that Advance Auto and O'Reilly had none of them were close. The biggest they carried was 45mm. I had the guy at O'Reilly measure it with a caliper, and I swear he measured it at 54mm. Anyone else getting that measurement?

Advance and O'Reilley auto don't have a socket that fits. Neither does Lowes.
Tractor supply and sears are your best bet for getting one. Tractor supply has a 3/4" breaker bar for 15$ too. I can't believe some people pay 60$+ just for a socket and a breaker bar.

I went down to the local gas station and asked if I could use there 1-11/16 socket and breaker bar. They just said let me go find it and handed it to me.

54 mm is about 2 1/8".
If that is what is on yours then it's wrong.
Is it a castle-ated nut (with notches for a cotter pin)?

It is a 43mm for 4wd ... I have 2 of them in my tool box, 1/2inc and 3/4... get the 3/4 with a 3/4 drive air ratchet..... I broke about 7 1/2inch ratchets when replacing my wheel bearing... my dad came over with his 3/4 drive air ratchet and the nut came off with out a problem.... and any auto store you go to should have one.... Oh and 1 11/16 is a 43mm.
