Default low voltage temp sensor

My check engine light came on telling me i had low voltage to my temp sensor, well thats what i assumed since my temp gauge has gone all kinds of crazy one me. it will jump from cold to hot but mostly not show anything. ok so two problems/questions

1. where can i get the pigtail for the sensor, i cant find it anywhere, ive looked online, and in the store. gonna look through a parts book of stuff tomorrow at work see if i can find it...

2. do i need the sensor, or the sending unit? i know the pigtail for the sensor is a lil worn i can see the wires so i figured i would replace it anyway. but i do i need the sending unit too? one is a two pin and the other is just a single.

The pigtails are OEM and they can set you up with one by ordering. I would replace both as, if one is gone, the other is sure to follow. The single wire connector is to GROUND while the dual wire is the actual sensor.

R&R both is my recommendation.
