Default AC Help

I am trying to figure out what is wrong with my AC. This 95 degree heat is killing me, especially since I use my truck for my mowing business. I have a 2500 with a 360. I know there is a leak somewhere. A month ago I had some break work done and had the guys check the ac system. Well apparently that just means to charge it ans send it on its way. It blew cold for a day. I am trying to find the leak but am having problems getting the compressor to kick on. I have bypasses the switch from the accumulator and the compressor wont engage. Is it time for a new compressor?

if its undercharged and the pressure is too low, it trips the low pressure switch at the accumulator, and shuts down the compressor. so you've got that one jumpered, correct ? that's supposed to bypass the switch and force the compressor on.

that's about all i know. are you getting power to the compressor to engage the clutch ?
