Ok im going to be doing a 5" lift on a 96 ram 1500 just wondering how easy it is to do by urself or with help im getting the bds 5" lift and im wondering do i need to get new driveshafts or lengthen them? and i was wondering if i dont if i put a 3" block in the back after the 5" lift and a 2" coil spacer in the front then will i need new drivershafts or lengthen them?

your dodge is a relativly simple lift, compared to other IFS trucks. However you may want to check out this kit your buying to see if there is any welding involved, and unless your a very good welder or have a freind who is, bring it in!

Bolt on kits = fairly simple (all kits come with directions anyways


No, you shouldnt need to make your shafts any longer, but carry spare U-joints with you. A 5 inch lift is going to be murder on them
