Don't know if its been talked about on here or not, but I just turned on Discovery channel and theres a show on called Ultimate Car Build Off, and they are taking a 2nd gen Ram and putting "tank treads" on it. Pretty cool.

 

ok now that I watched it for a few minutes, seems there are two teams, one is building a ford, and one is building the 2nd gen ram. should be interesting to see final product.

ya the show has 2 teams they both get so much money to buy and build the pre determined car.

They get 5 days work time (50 hours) to build the car/truck that they think will win.

I started with like 12 team and the winner of each round moves on and whoever is the winner at the end wins $100,000

 

i didnt like how the guy in the dodge just floored the truck everytime he gave it the gas

 

Yeah The episode was cool!!! I loved how that half track was almost underwater!! Google "prowler rubber tracks" it will be first in the natural listings. We have been building over the tire tracks for about 6 years but this is the first time we got to see them in this kind of action. It was pretty neat to see our own rubber tracks on the discovery channel.

 

i saw that last night, the build was sick for sure, i saw some things that i would have done differently. mostly just the driving. looked like the dude had never been in the mud before!
