My carpet has a lot of stains. I used DAWN dish soap and it got a lot of the stains ou, but there's still some left. How did this work on hard stains? Oh and any tips to get smoke out of my interior?

I would try renting a steam cleaner. You can get one at most super markets or home depot. They are the rug/carpet cleaners, just get the upholstry attachment with it and do your seats/carpet. Should do the trick.
