I knew you were talking about poisoning the coons, but leaving antifreeze out would attract the dog even quicker than attracting the coons. I think breathing all that coon **** must've rotted yer melon.

As to the smoke smell out of your truck, keep the windows down, it works well. or maybe im just used to it when i get in my truck. and for stains, my carpet was trashed when i got it, you can buy vinyl carpet for like $220.

So coon urine, cologne and fabreeze? I bet you got a good buzz if you drove more than a couple miles.

Are you sure it was even urine and not just standing water from a leak (water or coolant) combined with an already dirty carpet and sitting for a while before you bought it?
If a critter did get in there then how did it get out? Was the window down or something?

I'll bet the ants ate it.

True story: My father has the hillbilly mentality, so when his garage refrigerator gave up, rather than clean it out he just opened the doors so the raccoons could clean it for him. The problem was that some of his microwaveable snacks had already rotted so the raccoons wouldn't go near it. That was seven years ago and he's still waiting on the raccoons that have since made a helluva mess in the garage, broke into the house when they were on vacation, and get into the pet food if they leave the door ajar. They don't seem inclined to take on that fridge.

If he got the truck from someone like my father, it could very well have been a raccoon or possum that was hanging out in there.
