I had a funky smell in mine when I bought it, over and above the cigarette smoke smell.

I ran a can of Klima Cleaner through the AC system. This helped with a lot of the musty/moldy smell. This stuff has a short hose that attaches to the top of the can, and the hose is fed down the center vent probably down close to the AC coil.

A few days later, I used a can of Gone Smoke, which also helped. That is sort of a spray bomb that you set off and then close the door while it keeps spraying until it is gone.

I have also been using Febreze Auto, which is probably exactly the same as regular Febreze but just more expensive.

Most of the odors are gone now. I think those products would help any smell, even if the Gone Smoke is targeted to smoke smells.

I also used a Bissell SpotBot to clean the fabric. It is an automatic scrubber that sits on top of the stain and scrubs away. The cleaning solution is pretty powerful stuff and should do the trick. Just test it in a hidden spot to make sure it doesn't take the dye out of the carpet or fabric...

Since it looks like I already missed all the FB bashing I'll stick to the subject. I don't know where you can get except the local Ace Hardware down the road, but if you can find it. Molecule100 works awsome on oders...ALL oders. For smoke put it in a rug Dr. and shampoo every fabric surface you can reach. Use it diluted in a spray bottle and wipe all hard surfaces and spray into your Interior Air intake (where all the leaves and seeds come from) to eliminate any oders in your vents.

I never tried it, and there is the risk of corrosion, but you could Vic's Vapor the inside of the truck so the vapors would reach those nooks and crannies a rag wont. I wouldn't do it for very long, maybe long enough to fill the truck, turn it off, wait 15 and then air the sucker out.

Molecule Plus 100

This might work better...
Molecule Plus 40 StickUP

"I do to have a girl friend!"
"Why haven't we seen her?"
"She lives in a different state. I only see her on the weekends"
"So if we went with you this weekend, we'd get to meet her?"
"I didn't say This Weekend. She's out of town, this weekend."
lol

May try the moledcule plus. Seems a little expensive but may work on the spot where my dog puked after a long ride. May work good on urine too for those that have that urine smell about them.
