Default Need help with vent/ac problem

I have a 1995 Dodge Ram when the ac is on and its blowing thru the main vents and when you accelerate it stop blowing thru the main vents and switchs to the defroster vents and when you let off the gas it drops back down to the main vents and makes a pop noise. Someone said it may be a vacuum issue. Does anyone know what this is and how to fix it? Thank You

Welcome to DF!

Let me move this to 2nd gen Rams for you.

Also, do a search for this issue on the forum here. Many "wild vents" issues have already been covered.
