I have a 1995 Dodge Ram 1500 5.2l V8 ... Sometimes when I drive my truck then turn it off I come back to start it again but nothing happens not even a clicking starter... But as soon as I put it in neutral it starts right up.. What could this be?

 

Neutral safety switch out of adjustment or failed.

 

thanks.. So do I just take it to a dodge dealership and tell them I need that replaced?

 

Shift linkage out of adjustment it sounds like.
Download the service manual in the Faq's of this forum and it shoud tell you how to adjust it. Also a Haynes service manul should tell you.
