msd blaster coil and msd 8.5 mm wires?

Default msd blaster coil and msd 8.5 mm wires?

Im lookin to wake up the 318 5 speed i got. Do you guys think ill see any performance difference if i use the msd blaster coil, 8.5mm wires and possibly a 180 degree thermostat?

Thermostat yes (a little); coil/wires no, unless your current coil is getting weak.

EDIT: I didn't check your signature, didn't see that you already had a tuner. Scratch that part.

Maybe a miniscule gain. When putting in my msd wires, new cap n rotor, I noticed smoother idling. Ran 2-3 degrees cooler with 180 stat also...just good mantainence stuff to keep up on really

ok, i think im gonna run stait pipe instead of muffler and maybe some 245 75 r16s.

Your signature shows you have a Hypertech Powerprogrammer.

The ignition parts wont do much until you start putting more fuel into the engine as well. But, when you have more fuel, you need more free flowing air coming in, and more free flowing air going out as well.

I was going to say, in fact did say, that the most bang for the buck you can get is in a tuner. But you've got one, so I yanked it back out again after submitting the follow-up.
