Default 99 2wd balljoint question

are the 99 2wd balljoints rivetted? I am at work for 3 days so I cant just go home and look for a while. Will I need a spring compressor(cor the coil springs) to do all 4 joints?

rumor is they are riveted.
i would have thought you'd need a compressor, but maybe the shock is inside the spring to hold/contain it.

here you go.

Just finished mine today. They were not riveted. I followed to DIY link posted above...support the lower control arm with a jack stand and no need to compress/remove the spring.
