Default Throttle Body Cleaning

I can't seem to find the DIY. Can somebody tell me how to remove the throttle cables? I just don't want to break anything. Thanks.

they clip into the bracket with a clip on either side, squezze them and oush them through. I you are removing the TB all together its better to unbolt the bracket from the TB so it doesnt mess with your TV cable, that could lead to shifting problems

Yeah I'm taking the whole thing off. So I can just remove the bracket without messing with the cables?

if you take the bracket off and unplug all the sensors. the TB will wiggle out fairly easy. you will have to detach the cable ends from the TB but leave the cables connected to the black bracket. i think there are 3 bolts holding it on. hope this helps, sorry so vague.

as far as cleaning goes:

-after removing the TB make sure nothing can get down in the manifold
- remove all the sensors
- wipe down any dirt dust with a clean cloth
-(i used) mean green cleaner in a spray bottle and sprayed it down real good.
repeat this while wiping in between soakings

remember the more time you take the better it clean

Grab some q tips and a toothbrush too.helps a ton
