Rusty Frame
Well I started cleaning up my frame section by section and its looks good. The frame wasn't as bad as I first suspected. But of course, I do have a couple of issues due to rust.
The coil spring mounts are really bad and the rear leaf hangars. I think I should replace them. They will probably be the first to break when I finished with this project.
The coil mounts are welded, I assuming that a qualified welder could replace with new ones, where would I start to look for coil mounts. The same for leaf hangars. 95 1500 4x4

The coating on the frame tends to protect it pretty well.
It just looks like cht
Try finding a website that deals with lowrider trucks.
Most guys that do airbag suspensions cut the coil cups off the frame.
Maybe someone with a Ram still has them kicking around.
To do a 2x4" drop most 4x2 guys use new flip hangers & longer shackles in the rear.
PM any member in your area that has done that & Im sure they will let the hangers go for cheap.
