2i doubt you're leaking as much oil as you think. make sure your allowing plenty of time for it to drain down, truck level, etc, top it back off exactly and monitor it. just keep it full.

3check your belt condition. if not less than 3 years old or if it shows lots of tiny cracks, just replace it.

4if your truck won't rev up past about 3000 rpm, it might be a clogged cat, often caused by leaking plenum and being contaminated or just being a dodge.

5pinging is not good. often caused by a vac leak, including plenum leak. also caused by carbon build up.
1. I'll check the torque on them
2. Thats what my dad said. he said, "you keep blowing things out of proportion with your truck, son."
Better to be safe than stuck.
3. The belt looks fine, I mean, I can still read the brand lettering. Its not clear but its there.
4. The truck will rev past 3000RPM, it just gets sluggish. I'm used to my dads truck though...
5. I don't think the plenum is a problem right now. But would a vacuum leak account for the sucking sound I hear at 2000RPM? It only happens under load...

Thanks guys!

My belt is REALLY squeeking now. Only when I have the AC on, and I have timed it (by ear and eye) and it squeeks when hits the compressor. When I turn it off, its fine. I examined the belt again and didn't see any cracks but it does seem kinda dry.
Do I need a new belt, compressor, or tension pulley?

Also took the truck to class yesterday, started it up at 8:20am, drove fine. Left it the rest of the day in the parking lot, till about 3:15pm. Started it up and it seemed to have bogged then a HUGE cloud of blue smoke come billowing out the tailpipe. (Glad no one was around. That would have been embarassing)
Revved it for a few seconds with more smoke then it was fine.
Plenum is not leaking to my knowledge, BUT! When looking down into the keg, I did notice some nasty-ness (caked oil) on the passenger side of the keg; right where the PCV would be. I am wondering if thats where my oil is (one of the places) going.
How does one tell if their PCV is shot?

Also (lol), can I get a little more throttle response if I clean the TB's dirty butterfly's? They're caked really bad on top.

Thanks guys!

If the belt is dry, I would replace it.

There is suppose to be a pulse type flow of air going through the PCV. It is probably stuck open and don't bother cleaning them. There is a spring in there that gets weak over time. If you haven't replaced yours after 30k miles, replace it as well.
