I'm just saying from experience that Jegs or Summit won't sell "except CA" parts to CA address's. Obviously you can get those parts via another route...Beside, why would you want to risk getting a fat ticket if you get caught without a cat? The reward (if any) isn't worth the risk. That's just me though.

 

so iam i.got my M1,LT,SC, all from summit and jegs.how would you get a ticket?.driving in to the test station with not cat would be plain stupid hence the reason i said ad a flange and its a bolt on/off deal.the reward is 15+rwhp on a dynojet

 

I do know that some mechanics/shop will report you if you bring a car/truck without a cat. Others just plain won't work on a car/truck that doesn't have a cat. I'm not say all mechanics/shops. Just some. So where did you get +15 horses from? I'm not trying to pick bones with you, so don't misinterpret me as a ***** that just like to do so, I just want to know. That's all

If the OP is worried, I have 147K + and have the factory original cat. I have been asking when is it going to fail me so i can replace it for a good reason for about 6 years now. I hate to fix what aint broke so my entire exhaust is still oe.
