superchips help
i have a 97 ram 5.2 318..it runs great but im wanting more power..superchips i looked at has a programmer for 98..im wondering if i got a 98 programmer would the settings be the same to tune my 97? im only going with superchips because it looked to give more power output than hypertech..mpg isnt an issue just want to make my truck faster

nope. superchips is 98+.
hypertech makes a model for the 97, see their website, but its probably part number 50002.
if you buy one used make sure its not vin locked. if the seller doesn't know what that means, then don't buy it.
