I bought the monster magnums from CCH with not problems. Tell Bob you want the springs with higher lift, not the .515 springs they put on stock apps.

There was one guy at bionic that stated that he bought 2.02 valves that were left with 1.92 valve seats, but mine were cut correctly.

 

so do they make heads that would go wit the 1.7 HS non adj

 

The EQ heads were originally spec'd as a replacement for stock heads. The added performance is due to a better port design and a smoother casting than the stock heads had. All mounting points, including the rocker pedestals retain the stock configuration. Yes the 1.7rr work with no other modifications.

YES THERE JUST LIKE STOCK HEADS!!! Heads done have a thing to do with emssions!!!

greenmachine-i called clearwater today to ask if they would port and polish the heads for me and he said that they only p/p aluminum heads. he said it just takes to long to do iron heads. and they really dont even like to do alums anymore, just to busy.but i did talk to a local hotrodder and he pointed me in the direction of a good place to have them done when i get them....... and it looks like those heads from odessa you linked to have a core charge.

aims-when i order them i am gonna get the springs good to .600 lift.my cam isnt that much,but i will be ready if i ever want to go a little bigger.

those heads i linked to and my 1.7 rockers i can gain about 30hp.and of course the sct. gonna see how it all runs on the 3815 first though. pretty mild cam so it might run ok.

 

Talon, there is no core charge. You only need to pay core if they are REFURBISHED. those heads are NEW castings.

THey just have the same stuff in the bottom half of all of their ads.
