to do a 4 inch lift you will need
Drop pitman arm
shock
longer upper and lower control arms
drop swaybar brakets
Track bar drop brakets
As for the rear. you can order lift blocks from the same internet site

Not sure if your 4x4 or not
But your best bet would be to order a kit with everything included. look around and you might be able to find a ROugh country kit for anywhere from 500-750 if you find a good deal.

look on craigslist for parts. ive personaly built about 5 cars just from that one site alone.
theres a 6" lift for a 02 here in san antonio for $500. i got my lift for $50 off a rolled 98
*real big hint for craiglist is look in military citys. i.e san antonio. theres what 3 army bases and 2 air force bases?? eather way when they deploy they can only take so much with them so the rest is sold cheap. real cheap.

I was told lifting 3" was the max you could do without drop brackets for everything. Also, looking for confirmation, the spacer to do a 3" lift is 1.5 inches tall, because of the geometry. Found one manufacturer saying that, but haven't got any other numbers.
Add-a-leafs will get you between 1 and 2 inches for the rear. 3 inches in front and 2 inches in rear will get you closer to level, with the rear still higher.

BDS makes a shackle flip for the 2nd gen. Gains around 4-5" of lift. You will need a zero rate block (re-centers the axle) due to the axle being pushed forward from only lowering the rear shackle.
