i just bought a 2000 1500 with a 5.9 auto and its all stock with 41,000 miles on it but when i got the truck i didn't realize it had the death flash and i only plan on putting a exhaust a cold air intake on it and maybe a hughes air gap intake but that's it. i do a little towing so i put a tranny cooler on it but iam looking at ether a superchips flash paq 3865 or superchips cortex 3950or is there something better out there ?

 

i have a diablo in my 99 it works pretty good i got the expensive one with the display so yea check it out maybe

I got the SCT, it works pretty well. I notice it more when I hit 3k RPM's. I dont like that I cant switch tire sizes, like some other tuners will do...

 

haha that's true did u notice a difference with the tuner or was it a waste of money ?

 

it was a day and night diffrence for me and i have the death flash,im selling my superchips on craigslist ,so i can get a sct , that is alot better than superchips and he also removes torque management.

i bought the flashpaq for 350 when it came out, i didnt know about the sct when it came out or i woulda go that 1st ... but if you can get a superchips cheap it will still be a BIG diffrence
