Default 0-5 Ohm Wideband AFR Gauge?

I was looking around and I see there are two types of AFR gauges. Autometer is having a 40-60 dollar rebate on their gauges and I noticed that they have 2 sport comp gauges that they offer.

One is 238 (PN 3379), and the other is 299 (PN 3378). The 299 one says 0-5 Ohm. What is that for? I am hoping that the 238 one will do for our trucks.

here is the 0-5 ohm

BTW I found a website with the cheapest version of the 3379 for 188 bucks!!!

Please someone tell me I can get an AFR gauge for 188.

P.S. when installing the O2 sensor, do I just connect it on the passenger side downtube, or where the y pipe connects both exhausts?

Well, I seemed to read into it a bit more, and the 3378 is the PRO series with a digital input provision for data logging. Bells and whistles.

The ohm is the output for the gauge. There is a wire thay comes off the gauge that you can connect to data loggers. If you buy a data logger you need to make sure it reads between 0-5 ohms so you can connect the WB to it and log. That's really all it's for

Thanks, that is what i was thinking, but was not sure. The description assumes that dumb guys like me already know you need no more than 5 ohms to plug into a data logger. I won't be buying one.

Mine works great. Only problem is my data logger does stuff in like 4 sec intervals or some weird **** so it misses some info

I wouldn't even know how to use it. or does it just make taking readings easier.

OH

Just noticed that my california truck has FOUR O2 sensors. O2 sensor factories must be in california!!

Mine was just a wire I had to put a headphone jack plug on it. I just plug it into the logger, fire up my netbook that I bought for tuning, Open the program and it does all the work for me

Pretty sure it's a standard 0-5 VOLTS output, like most most sensors...
