I was trying to be vigilant, and not totally lazy, and finding an appropriate thread as opposed to lazily starting a new one. Either way, no offense here if you need to close this one. Zman, is this a tough removal and install if I grab one from Pull Apart?

Thanks gents.

No worries, just trying to head off the inevitable off topic discussions which seem to proliferate this section....

if you have a pull-a-part place, it'll be the cheapest by far. a new one from the dealer would cost a fortune.

there's 4 bolts that hold the canister on. 3 you need, and 1 you can throw away because its hard to get to and unnecessary.

It's merely my opinion that if we tell people to search before posting, and they search and find a thread relevant to their problem it's easier/cleaner (less threads) to just post in that thread.

It's not too hard to look at the dates and see what's the current problem!

Nice Vaughan. To be honest, searching this one was tough, because I didn't know exactly what the hell I ripped off my truck out in the woods. I have found absolution here in this thread however. You are all Ram gods in my opinion.
