Default radio and cab light not working

Hey, the other day I had to change the hood brackets on my truck, and to take the hood off we cut the wire that attaches to the light underneath the hood. Well now my radio and the light in my cab wont work. We reconnected the wires and the fuses aren't blown. What could it be?
Thanks,
Jeremy

Did you check the I.O.D. fuse? Most people don't notice it.

Mine kept blowing due to a bad after market stereo install. The constant was exposed and grounding out. If you put one in and it instantly blows, check that. Otherwise it will be like a needle in a haystack.

you probably shorted something out when you cut those wires, if you didn't cut one at a time, they'll usually short for that brief second while the cutters are going through both them.... I can check my alldata diagrams to see what is all on that circuit....
