Hey guys, first post here, been browsing around for while....anywho..

was cleaning my truck out and moved the seat up to get some stuff from the trays...now the seat wont lock into place it just moves front to back...kinda hard to drive when you hit the brakes and you go flying forward, or you step on the gas and throws you back...anyone else have a problem like this?


oh its a 99 Reg Cab, non-power seats

 

I got the same issue in the passenger side. The locking mechanism broke.

 

How hards that to replace? or is it replaceable? also noticed nothing seems to happen now when I lift the arm to move it front/back..

 

Same with mine. I haven't tried to fix it yet. I'd just go to a junkyard and get a new seat and take the frame parts and locking mechanism part off and replace them.

i'm assuming 98-01 (02 3/4T,1T) are the only seats that interchange?
