Default Seat covers?

Hi guys,

I've been looking for front seat covers for my 98 ram 2500 - the 40/20/40 with console and seat belt on the seat and can't find nothing cheaper than $160... Any recommendations?

If you want direct fit covers that actually look like they belong there, then that's what your going to have to pay.

$160 sounds reasonable to me. How much cheaper could they be? Unless made of newspaper or something else that won't last.

$160 is a lot of money for a piece of what is essentially an ***-fabric... I'm just looking for something walmart-ish ~$50 because I have a rip in one of the seats I want to cover, but at those stores I can't find one with the seat belt attached to the seat.

OK, well you made it sound like you were looking for factory replacements. Not just basic covers to go over the existing fabric.

Then go to Wal Mart and buy some heavy duty material by the yard. Lay it out, cut it in place, sew it, and call it good. Your total outlay will be less than $30; otherwise, learn to pay once/cry once.

That's an awful suggestion and a total waste of server space

Cmon now, I am sure not all here are riding with $200 seat covers (and if you do - you don't have to be all smug about it).

I got $180 seat covers, fit my *** just right lol. You can get the cheaper walmart one's but usually they are a general fit to a wide variety of bucket seats etc... Go to NAPA and have them look through their catalogs, they will probably have 4 or so different styles (diff $ amounts) that will fit your truck to a "T".

Thanks for the suggestion - I honestly never even thought about NAPA.

Just buy a beach towel and be done with it.
