Default Rear gears and locker help

Anyone have any recommendations on what to get?

1996 Dodge 1500 SLT Laramie 5.9L Magnum if that helps?

Tire size and what you do with your truck would help more.

But I'm gonna go out on a lim and say 3.92 and a truetac is all you need.

Buy the 99 Diesel and you will stop wasting money on the 96 that you can't even get a tuner for. Sounds like some one has a lot of money to waste.

You can get a tuner for the 96 someone on here has one brother. But that diesel was miss priced on craigslist. Boy I was pissed!

Right now it has 3.56 gears, i was looking at some 4.56 or 4.10s for better towing and better acceleration. Everything wheel wise is stock.

my choice is 4.10s and a factory limited slip that you rebuild and put in a bigger shim so it will lock up more. I had the best luck with that set up when i was stock.
