Hey everyone; I changed my water pump yesterday(97 5.9)and now i don't have any heat. Temp gauge is normal. But it seems i lost allot more coolant changing the pump than i replaced. This morning when i checked the coolant level the radiator was full but i had to add the more in the res. Any suggestions please. Man i love this truck!!!!!!!!! Thanks again Mike

You may have air lock in your system, try parking with the front wheels elevated on ramps or something, take the rad cap off and run the engine until the thermostat opens. You will probably notice bubble burping out into the rad. Then top off your fluid and your resevoir.
