Default TPS or MAP

im having really bad idle issues again, it revs alot when in park and in drive at a red light when in drive it will move because of it . i want to get both but the map is like 100 to where the TPS is like 40. I cleaned my IAC a month ago.

i dont have a volt meter to check my MAP, the truck has 137xxx miles on her.

what should i try 1st ?

surging idle is most likely TPS.
tps failure is common.
i've never had a MAP fail.

I just went through something very similar with my 2000. Swapped the TPS,IAC,MAP,IAT,ECT, from the 98. Same problem. Decided for the hell of it before I bought a new IAC to swap the Crank sensor. Bam, problem fixed. Just for the heck of it though try this. Disconnect neg. battery terminal. Remove IAC and clean it and the port on the TB. Reinstall it, connect the battery cable. WITHOUT starting it, turn the key to the on then off position 10 times. Start it and see what happens.
