i feel youre pain, im still havin therapy fro my wreck back in apr. and i went to a second doctor and he caught a disc that was partially torn, it was actually 1 of the 2 that slipped out of place, and xrays showed that one of my vertebrae is sliding every time i move my neck. hopefully things work out better for you, than they are me, i sure hope you and youre wife are 100% the way you were before the wreck.

I agree with you. I was reading the other day, in Germany I think it was, as soon as a person is convicted of just one DUI, they get their license taken away for life, no chance of ever getting it back. Talk about a deterrent.

You say you walked away did you at least go to the ER and get checked? That's a downfall of a lot of people. They don't get checked then when **** hits the fan they try to play off the "you were fine you didn't go to the hospital". A hit like that I would have went for the full nine board and collar and went to the ER lol
i didnt go to the ER right away either, i went like 6hrs later after my wreck.
prolly has somethin to do with adrenaline, a practical final exam for my EMT program, and anger, but i didnt have any pain until later that night, when my neck hurt, and my right arm was numb, and fingers were tingling.
they havent said word 1 about it, because the MRIs and xrays are there to prove it.

What a horrible scene. Glad you are ok. Too bad about the situation. I hope you had an uninsured motorist policy. With her not having insurance and being 17 there is probably very little you can do. I am sure you can take her to court, but any jury award will probably go unpaid since she probably has nothing and what ever you do get will have to go to the lawyer. idk about georgia, but in fl theres a statue that states if restitution is due, and the person who owes it is a minor, the legal parent/guardian can be held responsible, and made to pay restitution, but more than likely your insurance company will pay for the damages less the deductable, and go after her for the damages.

004X41500 sory to hear that **** happened to you. i hope things work out for the best for ya. we both went to the ER but not that night. we had chicken in the oven and the dog at home, so we had a family friend come pick us up. my family lives out of state and her family lives in Atlanta. we went to the ER and had x rays done.i had 12 different xrays on my neck, soulder plus a CT scan. the wife had the same minus the CT. my right hand went numb too! the wife said that as we hit, i stuck my right arm across my wife's body and her shoulder impacted mine...i still attend physical ther. and i have a MRI this thursday to see how my concussion is progressing. the ****ing losers almost killed me and my wife but also jeopardized my Army commission this december! i am on profile until no more concussion symptoms..
yes, a lot of people said luckily we were in the truck instead of her smaller SUV...that night we were gonna take her SUV but we had trash to take out and boxes to drop off at storage so we took the RAM.
i have good news though..i did buy a new truck. sorry to say it is the 03 Ram...it was a one owner (probably an older gentleman). why do i say that? he has a carfaax for everything! all his work was done at a dodge dealership and the work was CLOCKWORK..oil, chasis lubed, fluids flushed, etc. it only had 92000 miles and 4x4. i took it to our family mechanic and he looked it over and tested it. it just needs new front brakes. i looked at everything too at the dealership. nothing was leaking under the truck or under the hood. IMO it is loaded and i got a good deal on it...i guess that's what happens when you pay in cash lol. i'll post pics soon.
other than that boys, things are getting better on my side. hope yall are doing well and those that have been through this similar situation, i hope yall feel better.
oh yeah, the HEMI was a 05 and they wanted way more than what i wanted to pay. down the road, i plan on getting a 2nd gen as my play toy. take it easy.

while youre getting your MRI on your head, Id have them do one of your neck, seeing as how you said you had numbness in your right hand. I certainly hope that theres nothing wrong with your neck.
When they did the CT of my neck at the ER they said i had some minor nerve root impingement, but of course that turned out 2 be 2 partially herniated discs...
