I have a 2001 dodge ram 2500 cummins 24 valve turbo diesel recently i've been losing power steering fluid and found the leaking hose replaced it added fluid started the truck up turned the wheel a bit turned it off added more fluid and turn it back on it ran for about 5 seconds and died and now wont start any ideas?

does it crank over?does it say 'no bus' on the odometer? did you remove any wires when you replaced the hose?

 

something tells me that you might have forgot to put a ground back on.

Power steering fluid would not make the truck NOT start.

However, a seized power steering pump would.
