Default Faint Clunking Sound in Front Right

I apologize if this has already been discussed. I am hearing a very faint clunking type sound coming from the front right axle. I have not taken it to my mechanic yet but a few of my guy buddies have told me different things. I have been told wheel bearing, ball joint, and even 'something stuck in my rotor'.... What is everyone's opinion to this weird sound? It drives great still and breaks evenly. Everything is normal other than the sound.

Before you buy anything, make sure the lower shock mounts are torqued down to 100 foot pounds, and make sure the top shock mounts are at least at 30 foot pounds.

Jack up that wheel and spin the tire.
If it sounds like this http://www.flickr.com/photos/29654534@N05/3556777493/ then it is the u joint.
